Hello! So glad I got accepted. I dream of hair reaching down to my waist or even my hips... I'll see when I get there! I got a buzzcut a few years ago and my hair has grown like a weed ever since.
I'll share some details of my routine because this is a safe place to nerd out
I use sulfates in my shampoo because my scalp looks and feels healthier when I do. My hair HATES silicones more than anything (I get the worst buildup) but it seems to do fine with mineral oil! Since it's such a powerful occlusive I only use it after hydrating products, preferably with aloe vera in it. My hair loves aloe vera, that's why it's on my username!
I'm very protein sensitive, but coconut oil seems to be fine as long as it's not in large amounts. Oils in general are okay, but in moderation. I get better results from focusing on hydrating products.
I exclusively detangle with my fingers since I seem to get split ends simply by looking at a comb not worth it. No matter the kind, or how gentle I am, combs and brushes are NOT my friends. I ADORE microfiber towels so much! It cuts down the frizz and improves my definition a lot.

Hi! I don't find hair typing that useful (my hair varies a lot) but I seem to have a good mix between 2c and 2b, with the rare 2a strands. The strands themselves are medium to thick, and my porosity is on the lower side.
