What is the longest you've gone without washing your hair?
Would love to see how long people can go! Personally, I start to get itchy and horrible after more than 5 days, so a week has been my longest.

12 days due to hot oil treatments. My scalp was itchy and the shedding was insane. Never doing that again. The norm is every 5 days.

8 or 9 days was my maximum when I had a more easygoing scalp and I used to wash once a week.
Now I wash twice a week.

Just under 3 weeks.. and it still wasn’t greasy or itchy scalp, but I thought I’d better wash it! Mine gets drier the longer I go in between washes. Usually I wash (WO) and oil it every 1-2 weeks.

I've gone a month or two as a child.
In the recent years, 10 days is my record.

I had a brief stint with WO so I put a few months. I generally don't go more than 2 weeks because my scalp gets itchy, and I try to aim for once a week.
I hate washing my hair or even getting it wet (very lazy and its such a chore) so if I could go longer I probably would. But my skin won't have it anymore.

A week has been my longest, but that's really pushing it. I don't like going more than about 3 days without shampoo.

I only shampoo once a week but I CO once or twice and WO at least once during the week. One time I went the whole week with no in-between rinses and I was miserable with an itchy, oily scalp. My max now with no water on my scalp is about 4 days.
