AmaryllisRed all of these look gorgeous but I especially love the second!

What sort of issue were you having with the scarf?

jane-- thanks! I really liked the second, too, and I think it's something I would wear a lot if I could get it perfected.
I couldn't figure out how to make the scarf look right in the front. I had it tied in a bow off to the side but it just looked weird. I think part of the problem is the scarf was on my forehead, not on top of my hair...
If you have tips, let me know because you have all the scarf magic!

Edit: forum is doing the broken thing and it looks like I'm talking to myself but I'm really not!

I tried it with two braids and it works real nice! It's not that comfy, but it's okay.

    Very pretty, Mariekeeee!

I just tried it with one English braid, making a hole at the top and looping the braid through over and over.
I am kind of in awe. It's completely comfortable and holding all on its own. It's a bit messy, but such is my hair.

These are gorgeous Mariekeee14 & Amaryllis!.

Amaryllis I find that crossing the scarf ends at the base of my neck can help the scarf sit better over the top of my head. I'm not sure how that would work with wrapping the braids around it though.

    Sorry I'm not much help.

    Thank you!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I would be able to use that for this particular style...I don't think the scarf (belt) is long enough to cross in the back and bring back around... but I will keep it in mind for other styles anyway.
