Longer Damaged
Shorter Healthy
I chose shorter but healthy because when my hair is damaged, it knots up something terrible, and I end up fighting with it every time I touch it. No thank you!
Now that I trimmed I certainly think healthy short is better even of I hate it
Shorter but healthy I think is better, at least for me
None of the above!
I cut back in 2016. Joined LHC to learn how to grow hair long and healthy. 2019 and 2020 have been extremely difficult manageability wise. I guess I finally reached the length I had previously been at before cutting back. This is where my hair tangles a lot and I tend to wrestle with it. I have just gotten the hang of it. I am hoping it would get easier manageability wise.
I think I am on the Shorter but Healthy side. It's been two years that my hair is around tailbone and it's so diffcult to me to not cut the ends even if it is not so damaged that I think it on the moment. But hope 2021 will be an year of progress.
It's also why it's so difficult to me to participate to a battle no trim. I just love trimmed ends, it's so satisfying aha.
I didn't vote. I have never observed any damage in my hair. It's extremely strong. Unfortunately it would not grow past tailbone, so the longer lengths are not possible.
My hair is none, but I voted short and healthy. Many years of trying to have long hair while not taking care of it made me understand that unhealthy hair won't get anywhere. I cut my hair when it was really damage till I had short hair and now it is long-ish and healthy

❣ GOAL ACHIEVED: Gave up dye on April 24, 2016. Very last trim to get a full head of natural hair on May 30, 2019 ❣
It depends. If it was very damaged, I’d probably keep it shorter, but I’d want to keep it at a length I can still braid and wear up. If it’s only a little, id keep it long and slowly remove the damage.
