Short and Flowy. Hair health is my number one priority because I am hair obsessed. I always think of my hair as my most important accessory. It is always with me and even if it is a jeans, T-shirt, no make-up kind of a day, I always want my hair to look healthy.

In other words, it's always a good day if it is a good hair day.

Short and flowy for me too. The tactile sensation and the health of my hair are more important to me than the length, but there is a degree of compromise. I can cope with a bit of damage if I know that it will be trimmed out in the next year or so.

In the past, I would have just chopped my hair back to the point where it was healthy. At the moment, I want to keep the length, so I’m having a go at being patient

If we are talking about choosing I would rather have shorter healthier hair.

If we are talking about where we are with our hair I would say I'm in the middle. Medium length medium damage?

But if it totally freaked ya out,... then I guess it was totally worth it .
Side note... where'd you find that filter Hex? I would like to become a part of your zombie herd.

Longer and damaged. I'm already there and I'll be here for few years. I don't like short and healthy hair on me, it seems so far from my aesthetic. On me short and bleached, or long and healthy.
But as Hexen said, you can work with long and damaged hair with trims to make it more manageable as possible.

Hair health first for me so short and flowy... but if it’s long and damaged and the damage can be lessened / repaired then I’d go for that. My sis in law has long hair but it’s very damaged, to the point there’s more split ends than healthy strands - if that was my hair it would get chopped off and taken care of at a healthier length.

I never opt for retaining damaged hair.

I'm longer and damaged right now but I think I may bow out of the no trimming 2021 and focus on maintaining at waist and getting rid of the damage. I have chopped so many times in the past that I don't want to do that again. I have about 4" of damage that needs to go!

Whenever I went to the hairdresser and said please cut as much as necessary but as little as possible, they always cut away my entire progress. I was only able to get my hair long by not expecting a full hemline. Since the healthy part is getting longer as well I don't have a problem with it.

I prefer shorter healthier hair than going for length alone.
I need the healthy hemline and wish to maintain a strong texture.

Well "She who walks behind the rows", That one was an actual Walking Dead filter I think. I'm not sure it's even still available to be honest with you though.
That pic was from a couple of years ago actually. But I do know that there are a number of other editors that do similar stuff.
Or, ...I could just wake up on the wrong side of the bed, ...and then I wouldnt even need the editor. lol
