I actually went out and bought some today because I was so curious of the scent lol!! Maybe I (fortunately?) just have an even worse sense of smell than I realised, but it doesn't smell tooooooo bad to me; still not good by any means but I have other hair oils that I can mix it with that will totally mask the scent, thank goodness
I’m so glad I read this post even though I have no interest in using Neem oil and even less interest now!! Haha. I think I tried using it for fleas or garden pests years ago and remember the stickiness of it as being the most repulsive quality that has etched in my memory
My sister uses neem oil on her dog's coat FWIW. He's a Newfoundland so has long, super thick hair and it is so healthy and shiny and strong. I wish my hair looked that good! Maybe I will give it try someday
It shouldn't have been sticky, mine isn't. It does get a little gummy around the cap as the oil is exposed to air and dries some. Its great for garden pests.
Took me three washes to get the smell out of my hair. Thats never happened before. Think mine needs diluted with some sunflower lol.
