Ylva I really like your natural color!

Here is a picture out on my balcony 10 minutes before a rain shower hit.

A bit frizzy, but it's looking better. Now if that weird spot missing hair in the middle would just magically fill in.

You have such beautiful, well defined waves! I think I mentioned this before, I have the exact same weird spot of missing hair. But among your waves, it really doesn't stand out.

Been pondering the missing spot thing all day! Do you guys part your hair in half before detangling? I always tear a few hairs when I part mine as the ends grab hold of each other.

Hm, I do that in fact. But I'm so careful, I can't imagine that would lead to such an amount of breakage. I have different theories and maybe it's a little bit of everything. At the back of my head I have the tightest waves, so I'm almost sure I have more shrinkage there than on the rest of my head. It might also be possible that the left and right side are growing faster than the hair in the middle. What I can't figure out is if english braids might lead to that kind of breakage somehow?

Thank you! They have just popped up out of nowhere, or at least I just noticed them. I think you did mention having the same spot. We are missing hair spot twins!

Actually yes I do, but I am very careful when doing so.

Exactly the same with me. I guess we really are missing hair spot twins. The tighter wave pattern I do think contributes, but also my hair does seem to grow faster on the sides. But for me the hair there is also thinner starting at the top of the back of my head and also more delicate and fine. I was wondering if wearing my bun and braid in the same place also made it worse. I have stopped doing that and I am careful now to put them anywhere but there. Hoping that will help some as I just trimmed the sides even about 6 weeks ago and the sides are already inching longer than the back again.
