I know what you mean, the softness/silkiness is wonderful. My visits to the salon average out to 2 times in a year, depending on the health of my ends, I like to keep them in good shape. Each visit ends with my hair being straightened, this is okay with me because it is far from over doing it. Definitely, I can see the attraction to flat ironing.
