Has anyone here tried chebe powder?

YouTuber Miss Sahel has some videos about application of chebe powder

I suspect that regular oiling, protective hairstyles and a balanced nutritious diet are main key for retaining length amongst those village people, but I'm curious if anyone of you have noticed additional benefits from chebe powder such as smoothness or better length retention.

I haven't and I'd worry that the grittyness of it would cause problems for fine hair. But, it does seem to help it look thicker, if nothing else.
