Question can anyone here measure the pH values of various henna brands mixed with just water?

I'm especially curious what the pH value is of the Nupur 9 brand.

I’ve got two values to report:

    1. The first is a pure mixture, Nupur and distilled water. It comes in at a 6.

    2. The second I did out of curiosity, my usual mixture. I use tap water (8 in my area), Nupur, and some lemon juice. I don’t measure the lemon juice, but my estimate would be it’s a couple tablespoons. The overall pH of this mixture is between 5 and 6.

Thank you! I didn't expect that Nupur 9 would have a hair/skin-neutral pH despite containing Amla and Shikakai, which are both very acidic on their own.

No problem! Lends a little insight into what proportions are in there
