    Red face Curly hair VS straight hair

    Hello,
    so I was wondering what different hair care routines there are for both straight hair and curly hair, the differences and similarities, and if there's anything that could help curly hair keep the curls healthy. My husband has curly hair but I have super straight hair, so I'm trying to see if there's mixtures and hair care that would help both of our very different hair types. He's allergic to banana and coconut so those are things I've had to cut out of my own hair care regime.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Straight hair care is very different from curly hair care.

    The main thing for curls is: never brush them dry. Brush them in the wash when coated with conditioner or damp when hair gets out the towel, right before styling / scrunching products in.
    WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)

    I've had some good luck using curly care on my type 1 hair.
