I wore this handcrafted rosewood French twist comb once, so it is brand new.

It's absolutely stunning, with a grain that has to be seen to be believed. It's perfectly smooth and won't snag your hair.

Unfortunately, it's too heavy for my slippery, baby fine hair.

I have a couple items from Saya Designs and the wood grain is really stunning on all of them. I think I read somewhere on their site that they are ecologically sound because their items are made from the roots of trees that have been cut down for other purposes. I think they may even give part of their profits to replant areas.

The beauty of the wood is what drew me to buy this piece. It is root wood and they do plant trees. So cool!
