Thread: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

I don’t find a need to wash sweat out in between my regular 3-5 days between washes. I do wash my bangs daily though. These last few months Have been different but the previous years I rode my bike year round to work, and would be sweaty even if it was 25F outside. A little dry shampoo on my bangs made me feel presentable for work and the rest of it was absolutely fine.

Does anyone else get that thing where you can feel that your hair grew, but you can’t see it? Like I can definitely feel it lower down my back and it’s heavier in the shower, but when I went to stretch the curls, they felt like they stopped at the same spot

You can also try scalp-only washing, there´s a thread around. I used that a couple of times and it can be time saving.
Interesting! I’m wondering I might just have to bite the bullet but my hair takes so long to dry in the cold weather (and with the atrocious energy cost in the uk lol). I don’t think my hair is long enough for scalp only washing yet though.

Ooo thank you for your insight. Maybe I’ll just need to try having dirty/sweaty hair for a day and see how much it bothers me lol. Im trying to shift from 3 to 4 washes a week to 2 so I might just reorganise my long runs for those days…

I’m similar where people tell me it’s grown but I just cannot see it.

I've never seen that, so could it be your friends?
    ---

I've noticed hair color levels being mentioned these days and I started wondering what my natural one would be, could someone help out?
Here's some photos from the time when it had grown out the most, down to my ears. The rest I think was some sort of burgundy box dye, about a year old at that point.

I'm also curious what color would you describe it as? I've always seen it as an ashy medium-brown.

It was my own account so I have no idea 😹

Also that looks to be an ashy brown so about a 5.1 maybe 6.1 at the lightest

    If you mean right after the user name on the side bar, yes, it means the user is online. So looking at your own posts, it should always be green ( ;

    Hope you find out!

Ok, so I'll define it as 5.1 for the underlayer which never sees the sun to 6.1 for the summer highlights which in my virgin hair days were indeed almost light blonde but not quite. And an overall 5.5

I'm mostly just trying to imagine what I'd look like with natural hair and predict how henna would look and build up overtime, so I can decide which way to go

Do you mean in the profile visits box? I assumed that meant it was your own account. Although if it's on nore than one maybe it does mean they're LHC friends you've added, instead.

Edit: no I see what you mean, the list of who is online. If you've got asterisks by multiple of them then yes they must be friends. I don't do the friending on here so the only asterisk I see is next to my own username.
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
