Yet another Newbie!
Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself before I chicken out and sink into lurkerdom!
I am Becca and I hail from South Wales, UK. I have always had my hair edging towards longer lengths apart from a period of mistakes in my teens. I am now in my 30's and have found my hair has changed and I am struggling to learn new ways to deal with it. I am also moving towards more natural and sustainable hair care. I still keep my hair very long compared to a lot of other people I know - it currently reaches roughly to the curve of my back but it was very fine and thin. I also have hormonal issues that cause this but I am hoping to find a way to thicken it up a bit
I am currently using natural, solid shampoo and conditioner from a local small business and love it, though I do find I get a lot of build up. I am considering moving towards CO washing using my solid bars.
Looking forward to getting to know people and learning new ways to encourage my growth!
Becca

Hi! I also use solid shampoo, and am considering changing to solid conditioner too!

Re: Yet another Newbie!
thank you both!
Victor - I love both but i do find the shampoo dries my hair and scalp out a little - its better than the vast majority of bottled stuff I used to use though. Solid conditioner does take some getting used to
