Is your hair naturally shiny?

I have 2c hair that is coarse and low porosity. It has no shine.

I have very fine type 1 hair and it is naturally shiny. With henna it SUPER shiny.

I always assumed that if you had thicker, coarser or curly strands then it might not be as shiny. I'd 100% trade the shine for thick hair any day though.

I have fine type 1 (verging on type 2) hair that is naturally shiny. A big part of this is that it's very low on the porosity spectrum. Colour matters, too, though; my natural colour is an ashy dark blonde/light brown, and compared to my hennaed hair it wasn't as shiny as it is now that it's darker. Lighting makes a difference as well; my avatar picture was taken by the window on a sunny day, so there's more shine there than in a windowless bathroom.

I have type 2 hair and it is not shiny. Also my natural regrowth (about 2 inches now) it is no shiny at all... My natural hair is very fine and with a low porosity.

I have straight/lightly wavy hair if it naturally air dries (I don’t know the type) medium thickness hair. It is a little shiny with henna. Not very shiny naturally.
