    Default Need bang advice

    Hello All!

I decided to cut bangs because of boredom due to little overall growth. I have wavy curly hair and am not planning on cutting them again. The problem is that they are pretty thick and blunt cut so it’ll be extremely difficult to blend them into my hair for braids, etc during growth.

What advice do you guys have? Should I layer it as it grows? Are there certain hair styles that would work to blend them into my lower back length strands?

generally bangs are a pain in the butt. washing them regularily in the sink then blow sry them straight... to have them curly in an hour because your hair is curly. I don't know... I wouldn't decide anything regarding my hair OUT OF BOREDOM...

Just nothing to do but grow them out. You could wear cute headbands, and cute clips in the mean time.

I wore a headband a lot while growing out bangs. Eventually they'll get long enough to push behind your ears, but it'll take a while.
You can also try braiding them out of your face with a lace braid or something similar.
    Really patience is key.

Even if you don't use styling products like gel or creams, for your bangs specifically, to keep them out of your way and keep them from annoying you, you may want to use those in conjunction with everyone else's tips. I used a sort of cream hold thing when my bangs were growing out with barette clips to make them look like those poofy hair bumps for volume that were popular in the 90s.

When I grew out my bangs I used those small claw hair clips. Something like this. They were cute and kept the hair out of my face.
