    Hey there Booky

I was just telling my DH about your gorgeous indigo hair tonight
As we left the restaurant the evening sky reminded me of you....DH thought that was awesome; he is an artist so he knows his colors
That said....I adore your avatar pic with that blue Ficcare

Yup I hope to get back to whittling my sticks with local woods if my arthritic hands and knees allow it.
I have carved only 1 short plain lilac stick so far...no biggie

    Good to see you

Good to see you, too! I hope you and your DH are doing well

How sweet of you! I’ve always found night/stars to be so romantic and evocative. Any link to them makes me so happy

You talented ladies with your carving abilities! I love seeing it

    Thank you!
We have our days but most are good lately; lots to be grateful for after last Summer's heart scare with him

LOL my stick is just that....cut to size and sanded, with a little cut out that was natural, and a bit of stain and oil....I cannot claim it is 'carving'
It was done...geez....a few years ago I forget (everything these days ) and it was hard on my hands then; I imagine I won't be doing much with this arthritis.
But I have my modest hair toy collection showing others' skills from all over the world and that gives me joy

Now Jane and ALL the others......their skills are AMAZING

I got my french clips in the mail yesterday. Since I can't carve until my finger heals I made myself a polymer clip. I'm pretty happy with it.

Looks very nice, I've always been a fan of things with multiple colors in it. Also, I like your sweater.
Much love to all my fellow long hair peoples!

I realized this morning that I only have a couple french clips left. So, I came back to find a link to the shop I used and noticed that I only ever shared one of the clips I made.

Here are the others that I made for myself. I also made a couple as gifts but never photographed them.

Thanks again to everyone that helped!
