Sent you a PM regarding the lovely Alpenlandkunst fork!
That Furnival fork is lovely. Unfortunately I can't stretch to buying that one right now, but do you have any photos of it in action? I've never seen a fork like it and am curious to see how it plays with a bun.

PMing I'll try to find some pics of the Furnival, but I couldn't do too many buns with it because of the prong length. I mainly used it in a LWB, a Nessa bun, and I think I tried a few knot bun variations which really relied on my hair compacting more than it wants to now. It was the sturdiest thing ever though when it worked! I could even lay flat on my back with my bun supporting my head and it was still comfy (thanks to I think a combination of the sturdiness of the fork, and having to wrap my thin ends around so very many times creating a cushion between scalp and fork). I knew I was taking a risk that it might not last me long when I bought it, but I am so glad to have owned it at all
