For years I always washed my hair upside down (bending over and hanging my head and hair down) but now I realized my hair gets really tangled after washing it that way. It just doesn't lay down the normal way like it used to. It wasn't even that long ago when I could switch between washing styles and suddenly it's not working anymore a little annoying.

I have also been panicking recently that my hair is not growing. However, the centimeter showed a little more than a month ago.

My hair probably does not like protein because it's low porosity and usually doesn't have an issue with splits (*knock on wood* ) but after using mostly coconut oil for oil treatments I'd suddenly get more.

I had to cut a few inches off to even out my hemline/make sure I got them all and then have basically just been putting it up and forgetting about it when it's not wash day. My hair seems to like jojoba oil pretty well though.

It likes being combed when wet. I have only a quarter of the tangles I have with fingercombing and can now get them out in five minutes instead of half an hour.

My hair hates butters and waxes, dislikes most oils, but loves avocado oil... Especially as a pre-poo treatment, works better than conditioning before washing.

Don't know whether it's the polar triglycerides, the percentage of mono-saturated lipids or that I just have hipster-hair that enjoys avocado's. It makes my hair so soft and really seems to help against split ends

My pocketbook likes vo5 but my scalp dislikes it. I'm back CO washing with Sauve.

It doesn't really care what products I use. The problem was that (a) I only finger-combed and never used a real comb, (b) I didn't use a microfiber towel, and (c) I had a habit of not trimming for two years at a time. Shampooing with actual shampoo also helps.

My hair sticks out and feels stiff when in its Natural state but when straightened it is soft and silky looking, I wonder why that is

This should be something regular. Straighteners make hair smoother by heat.

My hair gets greasier so much quicker when I use SLS/SLES shampoos.
