I generally use cheap basic shampoos with silicones. Once in a blue moon I'll splurge on something nicer but they all seem to work well, so I get the cheap ones. I always dilute them with water to get easier coverage and they still clean really well
A cheap, basic one ? A specific one ? A high brand one ? With silicones, sulfates, or not ?

I use shampoo bars. I like that many of them are plastic-free as the ones I buy come in paper or cardboard packaging. The one I'm currently using is from Shea Moisture and while I like it, I like Cammamu and Chagrin Valley shampoo bars more.

No silicones in my shampoo but lots of sulfates. I use Suave Daily Clarifying and Neutrogena T-Gel.

I use alaffia's everyday shea shampoo for a regular wash, I'm trying to use it more because it has no sulfates and is less harsh. When I was doing the curly girl method it was what I would use to clarify once a week when I used conditioner to wash the rest of the time, but now I'm just trying to wash my hair less in general and use the alaffia shampoo most of the time, but plan on clarifying with my herbal essences rose hips shampoo, because I have a ton of it after I caved and went back to sulfates, haha. I don't really know what I'm doing, but my hair is fine with both these shampoos. I use the alaffia on my bangs daily because they get greasy faster than the rest of my hair and I'm NOT interested in stretching washes on them. :')
eta: no silicones in either of these, I have no experience with silicones really, but I'm afraid of the buildup and weighing down that would happen if I did. I avoid them just to be safe, since I'm doing just fine without them so far.

just growing along and seeing how far I go!
originally made it to BSL, then cut to chin in june 2019 to remove damage. current length: BSL-- but healthier now!
I've been using Garnier sleek and shine zero.
I'm sure it has sulfates, I don't think it has silicones.
I like it, I've always liked the smell of Garnier products, and I"m not super picky about shampoo, so this works fine for me.
