    I'm not sure there are so many ways to hold scissors.

    Unless you want the "resting position" as is shown on the image. But, if you're not a pro at handling scissors, I would not recommend unless you want to cut yourself, and hair shears are *sharp*, mine are razorsharp, I nicked myself once. Oh boy!

    Once is not going to kill them! Don't believe that. It is constant "other" use. Just get them away from him and hide them.
