Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*

My hair would be such a mess. I'll skip braiding. In fact I skip most styles, I know. I'm a one type of bun girl, that's it.

But I can't wait to see what you guys all come up with!

Oof. Okay, that's gorgeous and I'm pretty sure it would add interest while serving to eat up thickness and layers so that I can bun.

    Challenge accepted.

I need to play with this more 'cause I really like how it looks. This is my first attempt and I didn't do it exactly like the tutorial because I couldn't follow it and I need to watch it again. I just wove hair while watching TV.
But I googled "basketweave braid" and there are so many pretty options.

    Edit: Then I bunned it.

That's very pretty, AmaryllisRed. Your weave look so neat.

Here my attempt on someone else. I have a hard enough time doing a french braid on myself I wasn't about to try this on me. I also didn't follow the tutorial, and instead went with doing a whole head.

    In progress:

    Completed:

I like it better before the weave gets scrunched at the ends.

ETA: Why are the pictures such different sizes?

    Thank you, all!
I am hoping to convince my older daughter to let me try something on her, but she's gotten picky about which styles she'll let me try.
