I saw the pictures on the Raponsje forum. I am surprised it's got such a good and sturdy handle.

Yeah, I wish the Fine one came like that too. I would scoop it up real quick!

I am torn on the tangle teezer. I have the compact, paddle detangler & fine and fragile. The sounds I hear while brushing are hard to take. I am super gentle while using it but I can't get past the ripping sounds. Even when using the paddle on wet hair I hear it. I don't see an obscene amount of hairs on the brush and I do check and they seem to be shed as they have the bit of scalp but it just feels wrong. I like the silence of my wet brush.

I do like being able to carry the compact in my purse - I use it on my kiddos a lot on the go.

I agree on the sound, it's hard to get past. But as far as pulling and breakage go, the TT seems to do much better than anything else, at least for me.

Yep that and the Wet brush, for me. I never have had the "real" thing of this particular brush though, but the knock-off does a pretty good job, I'm very happy with mine.

The sound of brushing with any tangle teezer is because the brush is hollow. Once you have used it a while, you won't notice the noise anymore. It sounds weird, but it is not breaking hairs at all. It actually brushes gently.

That's a really great observation, Deborah!

Only if one ever comes with a handle though, not right now. I'm good right now.
