    Default another newbie

After finding this site in June/July of last year and coming here every now and again, I finally decided to sign up.

I've been frustrated by my hair for years and was looking for advice when I first came across this forum. At the time I tried everything I knew, yet my hair was dry as a bone and my scalp was incredibly oily. As a result my long hair looked terrible. I gave up at the beginning of the year and cut it boy-cut short for the first time to give myself a break. After a few terrible haircuts and realising that I missed my long hair I decided to grow it back. Because I started following advice I found on the site my hair grew back better than ever, it's never been this healthy at this length! So I decided to join up to figure out how to take care of it at different lengths.

Hoping to find some great advice on how to care for my hair properly at long last

Nice! So are you at a pixie now?
I had a pixie for about a year. It's nice knowing that the hair I have on my head right now is hair that I've actually taken care of.
My middle school and high school selves had a lot of fun trying to learn how to use a curling iron and trying styles that involve teasing.
My current hair is less frizzy with fewer fly-aways. I'm sure you're hairs going to keep growing beautifully.

Nope! I cut it originally a bit longer than pixie and had my last cut 6 months ago. The longest layer is at shoulder now.

Welcome to the forum! I think there is a shoulder to APL (armpit length) around here you could join.
WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)
