I voted other. I used to, regularly but now I'm pretty happy with my hair and I don't anymore.
Do you experience hair envy? If you do, is it usually about length? Or maybe color, texture, thickness...?

JESUS, MY LORD AND SAVIOUR
NEVER
It has always been admiration and inspiration
At almost 68 I am blessed to just be here (alive and on LHC lol) , and have long hair (the longest of my lifetime from age 61)with the support of LHC
Health issues (osteoarthritis & osteoporosis in my spine/joints ) prevent me from attaining super lengths, so it is a joy to see others achieve it
It also helps to learn about the attributes and care of YOUR hair, so that it can behave as it is meant to, and you can enjoy it; avoiding envy and frustration
Enjoy every stage ~ bling it up with hair toys and styles

Never. I knew I wanted it for myself after seeing a few other girls with long hair, but I never experienced envy or jealousy over it, no.
I enjoy and support other people without feeling resentful. Go you!
Desire is a different matter and depends on how attainable the desirable "thing" is. That is a cool hairstyle, can I do it too? I can sure try! Is my hair thinner and the style looks different? Could be. Leave it alone or paranda! I like that toy, can I have one too? Quite possibly. Should I spend money right now? Probably not. Ah well.

Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*
My situation is that I sometimes wish I had a different hair texture, It's right between being wavy and curly and it takes a lot of work to make it look good. No 2 hair days are the same and that can be frustrating but then I remind myself that it's part of what makes me unique and when it decides its in the mood for a good hair day it's pretty.
Growing out bleach damage and maintaining length
No, I don't envy anyone, but I do enjoy looking at all the hair on this forum. Quite a variety of types, lengths, and colors.
I agree with GG that LHC is a wonderful vehicle for anyone who wants to learn hair care methods. Lots of expertise and experience.
I do feel a twinge of envy about thickness when I see people with long terminal lengths and little taper, but apart from that I'm happy with my own hair.
I don't envy anyone's hair, I enjoy it for them! I desire longer hair, but that's a different story.
I voted rarely, only at LHC, and other. I used to (here) - not real envy as in 'I want what they have and don't want them to have it', but a slightly wistful pang of 'I wish I had that, they're so fortunate'. It was on and off for a while. Nowadays it's rare and usually I just enjoy seeing what others have while appreciating my own.
Momentary pangs of wishfulness do still pop up on rare occasion, usually over consistent thickness/less taper, a full hemline, or less often over texture or a lighter blonde colour. It's most likely to occur when a particular attribute is fairly close to what I have naturally but just different enough to know I can't have it - 'so close yet so far'
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
