I voted sometimes . When I see girls with the length i am trying to achieve. I dont think its envy tho but kinda like wishing
I get the thick hair envy too. Especially when someone has their hair in two plaits and the bottom of each plait is thicker than the top of my plait if I include all of my hair. I just remind myself that I am less likely to get a sore head from the weight of my hair (and it’s enough as is for washing!)

I sometimes do, but I use it as a way to keep me driven. Especially if I’m going through one of those times where I’m fed up with my hair for one reason or another.
Mostly I have thick hair envy, If I could just have the thickness I had in my 30's.

I wouldn't call it envy so no, I think never. When I see hair that's stunning, super thick and incredibly long for example, of course I think stuff like, "Wow, I wish!" but it's never rooted in resentment. Same with really pretty natural hair colors and what not. I'm not sure where this comes from, but I'm just grateful I have a regular amount of hair at all! Let alone that I'm able to grow it long, etc.
I never experience hair envy and I am always happy for what other's can achieve either through their own individual genetics, effort or both.
The avobe does not mean I do not wish for even better genetics than I have, but I am happywith what mother nature has given me.
After having thought much about it..........I guess I sometimes experience HEALTHY Jealousy of those with almost perfect ends (this applies to those with ultra long hair).
It is to be admired of anyone that has longer hair than classic length and also thick-ish ends. How can someone with hair that's been on that head for years hardly suffer any damage???
I get hemline/ends envy!
