Do you experience (long) hair envy?

I might have in the distant past; it's hard to label a feeling from long ago. I chose never, but that might not be accurate.

I said never. Interesting that most others did, too. I'm pretty happy with my hair and happy to admire everyone else's.
Hair toys, though... yup, totally jealous of some of the collections of pretties around here!

Okay, when I hear stuff like that I do feel a slight "that's not fair!" - I'd never have got to knee if I wore mine down. Also ever so slightly envious that people can even tolerate wearing hair that long down!

I had that thought, too. I'm definitely jealous of those who can wear it down!

I do but it´s usually more about how the hair is looking (texture, arrangement, color... ). Usually is more admiration than envy, or even just sheer appreciation (meaning that it´s something that I looove on others but not wish to have myself).

The only thing that can really make me feel envious in the proper sense of the term is thickness . My hair thickness is very mediocre/average, and sadly my edges and hairline is my weaker spot.

I don't envy anyone as I've grown hair enough to make me happy. And I'm still on it.

Sometimes I see people with absolutely gorgeous hair, but I tend to assume it just wouldn't look the same on me.
Part of that is I've never had suuuuper long hair so I'm just not sure how it would suit me. But even if I did grow it out as long as other people, my hair would look different than theirs, so I don't worry too much.
Everyone's hair grows differently, I don't want to envy something I have no way of getting.
I have no plans to turn anyones hair into a wig lol.
