Interesting. What browser are you using? I'm on Chrome.

I'm getting them like that too, on Chrome on both mobile and tablet. Disabling JavaScript worked on my tablet - thanks Ed! - but disabled another site I regularly use on my mobile so I had to enable JavaScript again and there the ads are again. The bottom ones seem to be above and behind the page number bar, which is awkward for trying to navigate without accidentally clicking on the ad instead.

Uuh, they really are everywhere, middle of the posts for me. Started today. I'm using Chrome in Android mobile.

Eeew! I was browsing on tablet earlier and didn't see any unusually placed ads, but now I see them! Desktop not affected (currently).

On Chrome on Android, the Javascript control is under Settings->Site Settings. I request the desktop site for LHC. The mobile site needed Javascript when I checked some time ago.

On Firefox, type "about:config" in the address bar and search for "javascript.enabled".

I'm on a laptop, Ed. Not sure which I should do? And thank you.

The laptop will already be getting the desktop site. Phones by default get the mobile site (for small screens) unless one checks "request desktop site".

I just saw an add in the middle of a post for the first time. Computer - Firefox.

    And between the posts.

Not Ed obviously, but - Three dots (on the right-hand side of the URL bar, that opens the menu of various options) >> Settings >> Site settings >> JavaScriptI started getting round the disabled JavaScript by adding exceptions to allow it. Turns out pretty much every site I normally use requires it ... So instead I kept JavaScript enabled and added an exception to block it for forums.longhaircommunity.comSo far so good, mostly, though the formatting options at the top of the reply box have disappeared I'm on desktop site on Chrome for Android (laptop has an adblocker so no issues there, I presume).
