Cool The minimalist modern style hair toy thread

I'm absolutely in love with modern and minimalist hair toys and I'm hoping I'm not the only one. If you are like me, you've probably noticed that it's hard to find toys that strike that perfect balance of being attractively sleek without being boring.

I wanted to make this thread so that I can enjoy my love for minimalist toys with others.

Feel free to post photos of new toys, action shots featuring hair toys that fit the style and links to vendors you find that have pieces that fit the mold.

Minimalist isn't particularly my style, though I do enjoy seeing it on others. The shop that sprang to mind was The Twisted Calontiri. Also sticks by Snitzstube (maybe, might be a bit too intricate for true minimalism) and the sticks by TimberDimensions who leaves the wood to speak for itself.

I think Jeter forks might count too, especially the pointed toppers, because he selects such superb bits of wood, shows off their intrinsic beauty, and that's it.

Ooh, this is totally my thing! Many of the hair toys that are popular here are just not my style. I too enjoy minimalist/modern hair toys and wish they were more common/popular.

Hair toys I actually have: (as a point of reference, these are all very sturdy and work for my TBL/nearly classic, ii/iii thickness hair; they may not work as well or at all for shorter hair)
    - OTHM aluminum sticks: (forks are also available, but I only have sticks) https://overthehawaiianmoon.com/shop...um-hair-sticks. I'm wearing one of these in my profile pic.
    - Folding bone: a tool that is used for papercrafts (cardmaking, origami, etc) but also works as a hair toy for me. I love the chunky look of it and the contrast with my hair. There's a bit of variety in the exact size/shape of the folding bone. This is an example of one: https://www.amazon.com/Talas-Teflon-.../dp/B01HH7BACU
    - Timber tie spikes/nails: I think this is rather minimalist and unconventional, also kind of punk/metal. At my local Lowes I think they sell these individually, although I'm not sure if every hardware store does because they typically come in larger quantities. The one I have is about 6 inches long and slightly textured so it stays in really well.

Hair toys I'm admiring: (I don't really know firsthand what lengths of hair these are best suited for)
    - Some of the hair toys from the Etsy shop Full Moon Jewelry, like this one https://www.etsy.com/listing/1906832...=1&pro=1&frs=1 and this one https://www.etsy.com/listing/1768531...23&pro=1&frs=1
    - The simpler/more minimalist acrylic sticks like these: https://www.etsy.com/listing/2700314...or?ref=reviews
    - Wooden sticks/forks from Saya Designs https://sayadesigns.com/shop
    - These wooden with metal inlay sticks: https://www.tenthousandvillages.com/...097a623a12ae7b (I actually have these, but don't use them because I snapped one and I think they're more suited for shorter and/or thinner hair than I have. I do love the look of them though.)

I'm curious about what other minimalist/modern hair toys people might mention!

Sorry, I edited my post and took so long about it Added in also Jeter forks

Considering these are all products I either have bought or would like to buy, I think minimalism maybe does play a part in my style - I like bling and I like colours, but I also adore simple, elegant things. Jeters are my go-to, everyday workhorses and I love love love them.

I find myself drawn to more minimalist (in my opinion) items a lot of the time. My favorites are forks by Quattro, and more neutral toned Ficcares. I also think some of the pieces by Senza Limiti qualify as minimalist, though I don't have anything from them.

That is probably going to change tonight though, as I see they now have an Etsy shop with very reasonably priced sale items.

ETA: Yeaaah I just purchased these from Senza Limiti:

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/7248682..._home_active_1
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/7109054...k-handcrafted?
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/7097688...ver-and-glass?
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/6377160..._home_active_1

Kind of a splurge, but those four pieces from them are the same price as one Quattro fork, so really it's not that decadent, right?

I agree with MusicalSpoons that Jeters are beautiful and minimalist. Although the really minimalist items are simple pins: unadorned bobbies and Amish pins. Not visible when in place, but they take way more time to insert than a nice fat multiprong fork.

I just found this new-to-me Etsy shop, Sodawood https://www.etsy.com/shop/Sodawood
This shop's hair toys have a minimalist look to them but they're also kind of interesting looking and not overly boring/plain.

https://shops.lillarose.biz/MemberTo...&G1=126&G2=127 I used to wear this one almost every single day for months. Only reason that changed is because i love braids now more than buns.
