Those really are beautiful. Sooooo expensive. . .
Thanks for that! Those are really nice. Reminded me of this leather slide that I bought a couple years ago at the RenFair in Wisconsin, which I had forgotten that I own. I love it, but it's only good for a ponytail - not near big enough to hold a bun.
When I saw Silverdawnjewelry's "glass hair forks" subject heading, I thought it meant actual forks made of glass. Not so, but does anyone know of someone making hair accessories from glass? I could get interested in that.
I like your avatar, btw.

Actually, I do! I guess, come to think of it, they could kinda fit here in this thread (some of them, at least).
this shop here, ourglasscreations I actually have a pair of sticks from. I haven't really worn them much beyond just trying them out once or twice, but now that you mention it, I'll try to get an action shot some time. These sticks are so reasonably priced too, I think. They seem quite sturdy and I'm not worried about snapping them, though I'm not sure if they would survive being dropped on a hard surface.
Here's another one I found that fits the minimalist modern theme https://www.etsy.com/listing/6948936...-stained-glass
These as well, though I don't really get why the pair is not of equal length https://www.etsy.com/listing/5215400...ss-hair-sticks
There are some other shops on Etsy that make glass hair accessories (search "glass hair stick") but those don't necessarily fall under the minimalist modern theme. I think I've seen barrettes with glass decoration on them in places like gift shops too.

Some more minimalist modern forks that I hadn't come across before from a shop called ThoraFord... I definitely like the unique shapes of these though probably would prefer a different color of metal, personally

Came across this and thought of this thread: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/6871...taxo-2-6&bes=1
The shop mostly does colourful patterned leather but has a few stainless steel hairsticks
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
Found a really cool "hair noodle" from Khielsklunker on Etsy! I've never seen anything like it before. A bit pricey for me personally but I just love the design!
I've seen that, too. And I've been thinking of getting one for a while. They offer only a handful of hairtoys, but they have a very specific style that I haven't seen like that anywhere else. I have their titanium fork and it's by far the fork I'm wearing the most. It is minimalist, delicate and smooth. It has flexible prongs but is still very stable. And it's waterproof of course.
