Hi from the Netherlands!

Hello everyone! I've been reading around on the forum for a while and now I've finally joined in. I have hair at SL and want to grow it longer.

I did not had full virgin hair since I was 14. I'm almost 28 now so it has been quite a while. My hair colour varied from bright red to dark brown. At 20 I had my hair dyed at the hairdresser in a dark blonde colour with a lot of very light highlights and my hair has been that way for many years.

I liked the light blonde highlighted hair but at some point decided that it made my hair quite dry and damaged and I wanted something more natural. So I dyed my hair with henna and a bit of indigo. I liked the dark red colour for a few months before I realized it did'nt suited me very well. I'm a very ashy type and my natural colour doesn't have any warmth in it. I didn't fit my skin tone and I desperatly wanted my blonde back.

So, I did something terrible! I bleached it for 3 times in a week and dyed it in a shade 8 ash blonde. The colour actually worked out okay, but as you can imagine the quality of my hair was really bad after all the bleach.

The henna bleach drama thing has been over a year now. I did'nt touched my hair with dyes ever since and have a lot of new growth. Half of my hair is my natural dark blonde colour again. I kept my hair at SL by trimming the ends now and then so the most damaged hair is gone now. It feels healthy enough to let it grow longer. So I'm not touching my hair anymore and hopefully I will achieve the long hair in my natural colour I had a long long time ago by the time I am 30. Don't now why it took me so long to stop messing with my hair, but well...
