To avoid yellowing my grey hair I oil with a colorless Jojoba oil. I apply a couple of drops every couple of days. It really helps to smooth out a braid or a bun and tames the flyaways somewhat.

Sometimes I use canola/ vegetable oil straight from the pantry.

I tried many different oils, but don't bother to use any now. Didn't seem to make much difference. I voted jojoba because that's what I use to oil my wooden hairtoys.
Right now I use argan oil, but I don't think I will repurchase it when I run out. It is just ok, but not great for my hair

My mum and I used to let lavender sit in bottles of olive oil in the sun, then take it out and use the oil for moisturizing and hair and such. The lavender probably doesn't do anything, but it smells awesome.

I tried all kinds of oils - jojoba, coconut, macadamia - but the only one my hair seemed to like was argan oil. It soaks it right up, while the others left my hair oily yet crunchy.
I coconut oil before washes (that's once a week) and I olive oil daily (my tips)
I use a mixture of oils. I have one that's a blend of olive, jojoba, and rosehip oils that I use regularly. That said, today I used rosehip oil by itself.
