Here to grow hair and grow knowledge!
Hello everyone!
I've lurked the mane forum for a few years but now its time for me to engage with the forum!
I've had multiple issues with my hair due to low iron, my eating disorder and general mistreatment of it (dyeing, cutting, bleaching etc).
I wish to grow my hair as long as it was in 2014 which was around "classic" length!.
My hair is currently abdomen length....if that makes some sort of sense...
I look forward to learning ways of how I can look after my hair and get some length happening.

Hi and welcome! I wish you luck growing out and learning the good hair habits here. I grew out damage dye and bleach a few years back and the "giving up the dye/bleach" thread was immensely inspiring to read. Unless I am misunderstanding and you have already cut it out? Either way welcome here and happy growing

Re: Here to grow hair and grow knowledge!
Things u can do to help hair growth:
1. Oil massages every 2 or 3 days
2. Inversion method once a month
3. Eggs, cheese and fruit in your diet
4. Braiding your hair before bed
5. Deep conditioning once a week but don't do many protein treatments as this will further damage your hair
6. Use no ammonia dye maybe
7. Stop bleaching hair
Well these are all tips I could think of for now, but less me stress that scalp massages with oil especially coconut oil really help.
Happy hair journey my fellow LHC member. Wishing u best of luck 👍👍👍

Oh yes one last suggestion I just remembered which helped me alot.
8. Try trimming your hair when the moon is waxing. You can consult the om hair journal on Google for help.
