Pre-disability (chronic illness) I was in the lower half of the 'healthy' BMI range. Now I'm at the top end, almost overweight thanks to medication, loss of ability to exercise or move very much, and not fully compensating for it in my diet - though I have stopped gaining now. In the years of steadily gaining the weight I've had periods of slightly more shedding and periods of slightly less
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness

I’ve had average weight my whole life (I’m 5’1’’ (154cm) and weight has fluctuated between 47 and 54kg (103 - 120 lbs) which is an average BMI in both cases I think.

I haven’t kept track of my hair thickness so I couldn’t tell when did I had more volume. I think I lost some when I started puberty, but I never really had thick hair.

Now I’m shedding a lot and I’m under a lot of stress and sick, but I don’t know if it’s seasonal anyway.

I don't even want to count my BMI. I've always been owerweight, sometimes less, sometimes more. The only time I remember being in the healthy range was Spring-Summer 2014 which was the happiest period of my life. I eat when I'm depressed, my depression kinda swings back and forth and so does my weight. Right now I'm the heaviest I've ever been, around 86 kilos, it's been like that for at least 2-2.5 years at this point and it seems to be out of my control. Well, at least I'm not gaining.

I've newer noticed any correlation between my weight and hair, to be honest. I've never been underweight though, I'm sure that always shows.

Idk. Everyone says I'm sooooo skinny, but I'm not bony and I just have a small frame. I've been both thinner and larger than my current size and I'd say I'm at my ideal weight right now. I'm 5'4 and 125 pounds (about 162cm and about 56 kilos).

Normal weight for me. I have a scrawny frame that lies outside the normal range used for BMI and weight charts. This has been true for all the decades of my adult life so I take those charts as general average guidelines and not necessarily useful for any random individual.

And BTW, blackgothicdoll, I assure you an ironing board has a better figure than I.

I'm 1,69 and 58kg (5'65 and 128lbs) so ideal weight here. I'm a little heavier than I usually am, my weight has been 55kg for years, pretty close to the underweight line xd I try to always be under 60 and over 54 to feel good and healthy

I had an eating disorder, and so I have not not weighed myself since 2012. Nurses at doctors' offices never say it out loud, and I never look or ask, so idk what my weight is, but I wear size XS, and doctors never have any complaints about my mass. I'd say I'm in the middle of normal range
However, I think I've lost a bit of weight since starting bupropion. But, again, there is no way i can tell for sure really

I'm in the top of the overweight bmi category. I've been here or higher my whole life. My hair pretty thick and nice.

I'm about the same now. 168cm and 57 kilos. But I'm VERY muscular, especially in the lower part. Because I did a lot of sports in my life and still do (tennis, running, walking, ice skating, dancing...). My legs make professional bodybuilders jealous and my butt is 2 huge muscles. No joke. As soon as I enter the gym I get a compliment on my legs. It's the maximum of muscles you can have on your legs, so, I look like 50-52 kilos still but weigh 5 kilos more, which is the weight of the muscles. So, BMI doesn't really work for me. And I know NOW that I should not go lower and should stay at 57-60 to keep my hair and skin look good. I was around 49-52 for most of my life and that's when I had these huge sheds regularly. And bad skin, pimples, blackheads... It started with my first diet in the puberty. I felt too chubby and went from 57 down to 50 and lost 2/3 of my hair. This was the first time I had to cut it short. And I stayed with this weight for many, many years and ALWAYS had huge problems with shedding and always bald spots somewhere. And now that I weigh 57 (back to the natural weight I had in puberty) I had no seasonal shedding so far (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!) and my hair has thickened up. So, I know now that my body needs the weight I had in puberty to keep the hair. Or, at least, that's my personal conclusion. I might be wrong, but... Ideal weight works better for me at the moment.
I just wanted to be as skinny as a supermodel when I was a teenager... STUPID ME!
