New and confused =)

Hello!

I'm a newbie here at LHC, but I've been looking at this site for quite some time
My hair is between blonde and brown (light brown? dark blonde?) and at the dreaded "Can-I-Call-This-BSL". It's slightly wavy and both greasy and very dry. I would love any tips on how y'all keep up with hair this length/type, as well as any tips to help with growing it faster =)
My goal is to get down to waist - currently, I'm at about 24.5-25 inches, and waist on me is about 30-ish - how long do you think it'd take to get there? My hair grows at about .25-.5 inches a month =)

Hair grows on average about 1/2 inch/month so you should hit waist in about a year if you don't trim at all.

24 inches to 30 = 6 inches, which is about average yearly growth without trimming, so about 1 to 2 years; easy math.

Welcome! I'm also new and just barely above APL. I basically live in claw clips and hair sticks, but the only style I can hold in a hair stick is a french twist. I also still wear ponytails secured with scrunchies or bobbles.
