I am bi male. However, with me I still prefer women 98% of the time. Plus the men I am attracted to have a particular look, as I have preferences like everyone else. When it comes to men I like men with long hair (longer the better, just like with women). And some men with long dreadlocks. But when someone asks you and you reply by saying you are bi, they think you like all men and all women, which is definitely not the case with me.

No, sexual orientation is not about sex. It is about attraction. Attraction is not necessarily sexual attraction. While it might lead to sex, it is no where near the same as "have you had sex with X gender" or how you've had sex or whatever.

Gosh, I had no idea how messy this thread was. Quoting this to ensure that yeah, orientation is simply about attraction. I've never even held a girl's hand. Anyways!

*I interpret 'bisexual' as "attracted to my own gender (cis woman) and other genders" so including transgender and nonbinary folks as well as cis men and women. I've been told I should call myself pansexual bc it's supposedly more inclusive butttt...idk. I'm not pansexual, bc to me that implies almost an unawareness of gender. I'm bisexual, and that's that on that.
