I don't like how it looks when I wear a low middle bun or braid. High pony is the only style looking good on me. I'm honestly worried about my wedding hairstyle :/

What about a high ponytail with braid accents?
Grow grow grow, where it stops no body knows.

After the wash, I clip my hair up curly girl style (the length as well), just by putting 2 claws either side, and then the 2 remaining (length) sections in a bigger claw both sides of the head. When it's dried, after the diffuser, I put it back up the same way, with different clips (not my "dryer clips") and my mom likes this "looser" style on me very much. Very much. She always compliments me on it. Aaaand... then expresses her regret for "the bun". LOL She thinks it's too rigid on me. I know, I feel the same way, but it's easy, it's fast, and it's fun to use my forks. And it's more comfortable, that is the most important. So hey... you can't have it all.
WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)

Exactly this! I couldn't put a word to it until now, but muted, ya definitely

I, too, was criticized for a longer/narrow face from an early age. I still dislike myself sometimes when I see pictures or look in the mirror, but there's nothing I can do about it. It was always other females who treated me that way, and never guys, go figure =/
