This is a really cool idea and a very smart way to get a good feel for what to except before trying it out on your head. Really interesting to see.

I am definitely curious as well to see these in the sun. I think the fire genasi looks really lovely especially if you aren't looking for burgundy. What did you use to lighten the samples? The sample at 7 (fire genasi on lightened hair) is a stunning color but may not be worth doing depending on what you had to use to lighten it.

I did 4 applications of sun-in on those samples. Basically to get idea of how my ends and my tiny blond streak would react.

Alrighty, we haved waited through the oxidation period and here are the final results.

The control is at 12, kitsune at 2, kitzune on lightened at 4, genasi on lightened at 7, genasi at 10

I will take a photo in the sunlight as soon as it stops storming

You mentioned earlier that Fire Genasi was your favorite, is it still after the sunlight pics or has your preference changed?

Exciting I have to admit, before and after pictures from blonde or brown to henna-red are my favorite. I went from chemical red to henna so I never got the full flame on experience

The fire genasi in the sun in that last photo next to the control sample looks super lovely! What a cool experiment!

Hope you end up posting before and after photos when you do your full head application!
