    I mean... in theory it has to on a molecular level because of the Michael addition (that's the type of bond that's joining the lawsone to the hair), but I don't know how that adds up in terms of added microns to the thickness of hair (as in, is it a meaningful amount or not). I think most the overnight thickness is the plant wax, but I've no way to test that on a scientific measurement level

    How often would the sedr need to be reapplied? Would it depend more on time or number of washes?

    It depends on a few things, how often you wash and how harsh your shampoo is, but normally it needs to be redone every 4-8 weeks.
