What have you come to accept?
I have come to accept that my hair is brown, and not blond like it was from childhood and into my mid-twenties. I really tied that dark gold hair to my identity before. In fact, when I met my DH it was on a dating website, and my name was "SmartBlond." I don't know if I am going to do something about the color... but I have come to accept that it is not the color I tried to say it was...

That DH will probably always prefer my hair short (like when we met)
...but that he loves me more than my hair, so I should wear it however makes me happy.

Iv'e come to accept that my hair is curly, and not straight like it was when I was younger... (and to stop fighting it and quit with the hair straighteners! )

Things I've come to accept:
It will take years for the gray to become silver all the day down.
My DH doesn't care about my hair at all, long, short. whatever, but he doesn't want it tickling him (which means touching him at all!).
My hair is neither straight nor curly and hasn't been willing to make nice even waves.

I have come to accept that my hair is not black and not slightly wavy but curly.

I tried to convince myself the other day that my formerly blonde hair was brown, but it isn't. I am stuck in that dark blonde limbo.

That my hair is curly, and hates straightening irons. Like, really hates them, not just the 'OH, MY LHC HAIR HATES STRAIGHTENING IRONS AND BLAHBLAHBLAH FRYALATORS BLAH'. It legitimately DOES NOT like them.
Doesn't stop me from using them on occasion, but I'm content with my curls now, I think.
