I made a mistake.
Last October I cut my shoulder blade length hair back to a pixie. I had been totally neglecting it. I never combed or brushed it and I always wore it up in a ponytail. I never got used to the way it felt because if this and so it just became a nuisance to me because I just ignored it all the time.
I’ve been regretting the cut ever since I got it. I thought it was going to be great, but unlike 4 years ago when I had a pixie it wasn’t great. It’s obviously not for me anymore.
My hair is almost back to my chin now. It grows really fast. I’m back here because I willl probably need support. I understand what I did wrong, but I know I don’t know as much about long hair as I should. I had hair to my waist until I was in college most of the time.
I am glad to be back. I know I can do this right this time!

Welcome to the forum!
October until now that's about 4 months. You should be on your way right now (oh, right you're at chin already). You can join the "shorties" thread for lots of support to get out of the pixie stage! I think there's also the chin to shoulder thread so you might want to read & join that one too.

Many of us started with pixie length hair, so you've got lots of "sisters" here.
