I just bought 3 different Dove conditioners for dry hair (all 3 has dimethicone as third ingredient), and I actually used all of them yesterday when I washed my hair (I have crazy dry hair and I always use at least 2 different conditioners every time, often more, and hair masks and always one conditioner before shampoo, and nothing is ever enough).

My hair felt good during the washing, after it, and today. It feels clean but soft, and my stupid crappy ends I hate have never felt so good than they do now. They actually feels soft and behave. I'm really happy.

It’s been a while since I used anything by Dove, but I did notice the other day they have some new products out:

I have never seen a foam conditioner before!

Just checked the names of my conditioners, and they are:

Dove Nourishing Secrets Restoring Ritual conditioner with coconut oil and turmeric

Dove Nutritive Solutions Intensive Repair conditioner for damaged hair

Dove Nutritive Solutions Nourishing Oil Care conditioner for frizzy dry hair

Wow those foam ones are expensive (price per quart; here we do price per L or KG).

What’s with the trend of foaming shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc? I have never used them but have always been curious as I’ve been seeing so many companies use it besides dove.

Also, my hair absolutely hates the shampoo. I don’t know why but every time I used it, there was this weird “film” over my hair. Maybe it was build up and I just needed to clarify my mom really likes it for her curly hair.

I'm wondering if you use more or less (or same amount) of the product, if it's a foam...

It's been years since I used a Dove shampoo, I think I used one in my entire life. I don't know why I don't go towards that brand when it concerns shampoo. Odd that. I even don't have that many Dove conditioners. Yes, I last (about a year to 2 years ago) bought an entire batch for 99ct a bottle; could not pass that up. And there is one now on the edge of my tub to use up (a good one, the "lisse & soyeux" (old bottle)).

I have not tried the one from Dove, but I have used the foam conditioners from Herbal Essences and Pantene. They come out like a mousse or shaving foam. Kind of hard to adjust the amount, though, because it comes right out. Very good for fine/ thin hair because they rinse right out and don’t leave residue, and you can use them further up the hair shaft without worrying too much about the hair closer to the roots being weighed down.
