Nape hair

I've fought with my nape hair (and also the little wispies around my ears) for a long time, but recently I realized that they'll never be under control. So I trimmed them to about 3" (same length as my bangs), and I put them in pincurls for a few minutes every morning. It turns out that I like the look, at least for now.

None of my hair bothers me ... maybe I am misreading this. Are we talking about the section of hair at your nape or actual neck hairs, like sideburn hair? I don't have the latter.

I picked slather in cheese, only because it's closest to slathering in oil or shea butter. My nape hairs like to curl more than the rest of my hair, so much that they become massive knots. So they must be slathered in something in order to avoid the other option of shaving...

This is my first poll y’all, think I made this more confusing than it probably needs to be.

-I mean any hairs on your nape that bug you, mine are outside my hairline

-If you’ve never thought about them then this does not apply to you

-I should have worded the poll more clearly, I was interested in how people who remove their nape hair do it, as there is already a fair bit of discussion on how to style them for those that choose

I don't have any nape hairs like this. I do have one hair in front of my ear that looks like he belongs with the rest of my hair but he's nowhere near the hairline. He gets plucked

I have one of those halfway down my forehead. It’s very blond though so it can get pretty long before I realize it’s back.

I will twist it then incorporate it into any plait style I am doing. That's mostly to reduce lint and it getting knotted. That's my houdini hair because it tends to wriggle out of twists and plaits despite my efforts. When all else fails I will cut off any knots that have formed. If it means I will lose a few inches there so be it.
