You make it look so easy!! it's a beautiful bun but I would need more hair. Your hair color is beautiful!

I liked watching the Dutch version as well, I have to order all my sticks online. If anyone can point me in a good direction the trial and error things is getting to me.

I tried it again and I actually really loved the results. It looks like a fluffy little dinner roll!

I tried yesterday and secured it with two Upins but I think it is not quite right, after threading the hair though the loop, I do not know what to do, do you spread it or what, anyway, here I tried to secure with a stick which looked better....

Mine, with and without my faithful scrunchie. The scrunchie helps eliminate the hair from sagging at the nape - and makes the bun look bigger too, so a win-win there, I think. Tell me, do you prefer it with or without the scrunchie?

All these buns are so beautiful!

    Sara L definitely without! Gorgeous!

This is a nice change from my go to, which I have no name for, but starts out the same - wrap up and around the 3 fingers, but then I just keep wrapping around the base, not too tightly, and then end it by pulling/stretching the loop from top to bottom on the right side of the bun. One fork holds it and it make me look like I have more hair than I do and it's asymmetrical which I like. I think I made it up when some other bun didn't work.

Oh yay, beautiful successful brioche buns! Well done all of you

SarahLabyrinth I'm going to be contrary and say I like both - with scrunchie frames it really nicely, and without shows off the bun and your hair in its natural state. [Ligeia your photo has disappeared? I saw it before when I thought I'd replied on the thread but now it's gone.]
Growing back to definite-calf length with hopefully some semblance of a hemline.
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
