HUGE scrunchi collector over here - mostly velvet, some satin and all in deep dark colors - black, crimson, eggplant.

I've only tried the CVS brand "invisibobbles" and after a short while the part where they are glued together starts coming apart and snags my hair - ripped it too, so I no longer use that kind at all - except for other things like chip clips etc.
I don't read that happening to others so I wonder if it's just the CVS brand but I'm not willing to try another brand either bc of it.
    Super fine and delicate

It's kind of hard to find plain satin scrunchies being sold, they're either made of materials that kind of snugs or have beads or decorations. They're pretty but I hate wearing them, I just know they're going to tangle into my hair, especially when I try to take them off.

So right now I'm only constantly wearing my 3 plain satin scrunchies (well two of them had stripes design to the fabric, but what I meant is the design of the scrunchie itself is plain), actually I saw one (just one!!) being sold at this dollar store but I forgot to buy it, oops. Oh well, maybe next time.

Scrunchies are so comfortable and easy to put on/take off, no stress. My hair is only just past my shoulders but I've been putting it up nearly all the time except when I'm sleeping.

It could just be their brand...I have a few varieties from amazon and they are constructed/wear very well (over a year).

I has some others that were bought over a year ago (still wear them), but they are unavailable now.

The bows are removable and could be worn alone as well.

As of today I am the proud owner of a plain black velvet scrunchie! I like how it still secures my ponytail enough and does not slide out. I can see an addiction starting xD

Ooh, never really thought of searching them online! I decided to look for them on my favorite online shopping site though (it's called Shopee, bought soo many good stuff super cheap!). I found one set of 40pcs-50pcs for less than RM20.

They don't have the tie but that's fine, thank you for the suggestion, GroovyGranny!

I'm not gonna buy them right away, but I'm planning to... My mom's gonna be so annoyed seeing me buying that much scrunchies though, she'd probably say something like "Oh yeah, buy a hundred of them then leave them everywhere till you can't even find one." Oops.

http://www.aliexpress.com is another online site for scrunchies, sort of China's equivalent of eBay. Many velvet/satin/silk. Some of the silk ones might actually be silk (some of the merchants are prone to exaggeration). But good prices, so long as you don't mind waiting for delivery from China (to the US, I figure 3-6 weeks), though a few items come from other places.

    I looooooove scrunchies!!
Ponytails look so cute with scrunchies and whenever I make a bun it add's so much volume so I get the feeling as if I have thick hair, haha.
Especially the velvet ones are my favourite.

I don't know if they're actual silk or not but hey, satin is pretty great too!

Ugh, I need to make a habit of storing my things better definitely, I've none to be blame but myself.

I love Aliexpress too! Unfortunately the payment method is a bit difficult coming from my country, so that's why I stick to more familiar sites (to me) like Shopee and Lazada. But thanks for the suggestion! I bet others would find it helpful.

A couple of weeks ago I got 4 velvet scrunchies so I’ve got 5 now and I just received a belated Sinterklaas gift, 48 satin scrunchies in every colour imaginable
