I actually haven't bought any scrunchies for a while now. So I should still have "only" around 44

Rather than control would I say that it's been because I haven't found any nice looking scrunchies in the stores, that I don't already own But I will probably sew a few more once I have more time

    Oh I see LOL

It has been a while since I have seen any locally, aside from the flowery ones by Scunci in my grocery store, that I like to wear in Summer.

Then I had no satin or velvet so I had to get those...on Amazon

Most have come from almost 7 years ago when I began growing from chin; the Etsy shop (threddies) sells big packs.

Or I crochet them from leftover sock yarns (I don't sew)

    Anyone make their own scrunchies?

I have a sewing machine, some silk and a decent degree of time over the next week. It seems like it wouldn't be anymore difficult than a pillow and silk scrunchies would be so expensive.

I made some as a kid. They are super easy. I’m sure there are tutorials online if you want to look at suggestions for how to construct them.

Thanks GG! Do you think satin willl bill just as good for my hair as silk? I have a lot more satin and it's a lot newer. Sometimes old silk can fray easily and be a general pain.

I don't see why not; I have used satin pillow cases for years and love them!

I've made my own scrunchies and it's very easy And I own satin scrunchies, they're very gentle on the hair Here's a tutorial I made a year ago https://tatsu.blogg.se/2018/septembe...e.html#comment
