    Default Your Go-To Bun(s)?

    What are your go-to buns?

    Mine are:
    Spock
    LWB
    Nautilus
And a bun I've been wearing for ages thinking it was a nautilus but it isn't xD

Used to be a nautilus, but it isn't working great anymore. Moving on to a disc bun, but I modify by going around my fingers twice before wrapping the base, then repeat on the thumb side -- around twice before wrapping the base. My hair is thinish and very slippery.

Up to FTL from hip on, day in day out: LWB (lazy wrap bun). I felt I needed to wrap around far too many times at that point, so I switched to a Nautilus and it's going great so far. I don't do other buns - ever. I feel that experimenting could cause mechanical wear 'n tear and so I stick to what I know works well.

LWB. I can only just make a nautilus that doesn't feel tight.

Since classic my superslick hair can sort of manage with double-twisted helix; double-wrapped L-infinity; or 3-wrap spidermom's, all braided at least partially; or coronet braid. Mind you, almost never does anything but the coronet stay in place all day. And it doesn't even start neat.

I've been wearing a Spock bun for the past few months. Some days I will try something new but I always end up taking it down and doing a spock bun. It just looks and feels so nice.

Plain cinnamon bun, sometimes braided. My hair's too long for a figure-8 now, and I've never really been into any of the ones like nautilus where you pull your hair through a loop (nor can I tell any of them apart... lol).

When my hair is waist length, it's a Neoma Knot.

Now my hair is somewhere between shoulder and APL. My go to's are a flipped bun secured with a Ficcare or a vertical LWB.

Braided bun or cinnamon bun every single day for years... they are the easiest and most secure and comfortable for me.

Double-wrapped LWB, or single-wrapped (normal) LWB with wider forks
    Spock bun
Neoma Knot will hold even if nothing else will
Lazy wrapped L-infinity (not twisted) for something a bit fancier
Braided LWB or nautilus for something fancier but more comfortable than L-infinity
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
