I love vertical LWBs with headcurved forks when I know I'm going to have to be laying down a lot that day. I've always just done it the usual way then rotated it with my hand still in it before putting in the fork vertically. I wrap anticlockwise so rotate it clockwise otherwise it loosens.

Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
I can only do a cinnabun for far, I wear it pretty much every day in varying spots Everything else falls out easily, darn slippery hair...
I can only do a nautilus and a LWB, because I haven't learned any others. Of those, I prefer nautilus. But can someone tell me how I can do it so that it doesn't end up pulling on my hair on the point where the stick is closest to the scalp?

No. 1 on my list is Celtic Knot, as it holds my slipmonster the best, and can handle sticks and forks well without rotation or giving my scalp an attack of the ouchies (as long as they have a goodly amount of length to handle the downward spread of the bun).
At night I do a firm Gibraltar or LWB that's held with a Quattro 4 prong button fork.
Cinnabuns come into play a bit now, too, as my frozen shoulder thaws. Double wrapped buns or split buns are also in use, although not as often, and my Nautilus buns always end up right of centre. I used to do a Baby Helix or reverse the tail for something that looks like what is now known as a Spock bun, but my hair has thickened a bit much to handle these (too much bulk for my fingers and hand).
I also do LWP (ponytails) and French twists with the tail spraying out into a long ponytail (Ficcares or Flexis help hold it) when I'm going for a softer, flowing look.

Is there a database/list somewhere of all of these styles and how to do them? I always see all of these different buns and braids referenced, but even a search doesn't always find instructions (and takes a long time if searching for several referenced styles), and it would be easier if there was one page a person could browse/click...
I only ever wear a nautilus and have for two years now. It's just so comfy and gives amazing waves when you take it down
