    Pretty buns!

    GrowlingCupcake oh wow, that fork
Growing back to definite-calf length with hopefully some semblance of a hemline.
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness

It's a really great bun for thin hair, I got it at first try and I'm amazed how secure and not so tight it is at the same time.

Got it on the first try. Talk about a head eating bun though! This thing look huge. I love it. No pics because I can't take pics of the back of my head. Next steps: try this with a flexi and see if amish pins will work, too. I barely had enough length though.

It depends on the thickness of your hair (and I guess hand/finger size as well) but I can do it easily with waist length hair that’s on the thin side. This bun slips out after a couple of hours for me though. I need to figure out how to get it tighter.

Thank you. Maybe I can do it, then. My hair is very slippery, though.

I have never gotten my Spock bun to hold with just one stick, so I most often wear a Nessa bun which holds very nicely with one stick. Last night I was just messing around and did a one finger Spock wrap bun and put one stick in it. It held like a rock. Such a nice discovery for me. No pics but maybe I will try soon.

Decided to try a Spock bun out this evening & may it live long and prosper, so lovely & very comfortable *held in place with one size 13 double-pointed bamboo knitting needle
