Right! Full stash inventory is in this blog post: https://forums.longhaircommunity.com/entry.php?b=133541 But I'm only looking to actually get through my stash of conditioners and oils; any repurposing or giving away of shampoos will be a bonus to stick on the end of the list

    Conditioner stash:
    6+1x Macademia Oil Extract
    5+1x Henara Gold Shine
    1.5x Creighton's Sunshine Blonde, 250ml (amodimethicone)
    1x Inecto Naturals Bamboo, 500ml
1x Inecto Naturals Shea Butter, 500ml
    1x Inecto Naturals Coconut, 500ml
    1x Superdrug Extracts Grapefruit & Papaya, 400ml
1x Superdrug Extracts Aloe Vera & Mango, 400ml
+1x Superdrug Extracts Raspberry & Macadamia conditioner, 400ml
+1x Essential Fruit Balance Citrus & Green Tea conditioner, 500ml
    0.6x Co-Op Tea Tree & Mint, 400ml
    0.9x Co-Op Red Raspberry, 400ml
    0.5x Co-Op Apple & Aloe, 400ml
    1x Garnier Fructis Strength&Shine, 250ml

    Oils stash:
    +1x Camellia Seed
    1x Macademia Nut
    1x Hazelnut
    1x Apricot Kernel
    1x Cashew Nut, all 50ml
    0.75x Sweet Almond, 200ml

    +1 = currently using
    * = used up
0.x = opened, not currently using

Edit: updated for beginning 2019 (blog post not).

    Woot! Let's do this!

    MusicalSpoons, good luck, girl!

I will be making my list as I go through product, and counting the items as I go (as I did last year, you can check the 2018 thread on this for that). And I will be adding throughout the year, as I've done last year. I think we've all got our particular "system" to mark things as used, so... anything goes. Whatever is the most convenient for you.

This is not a thread to "replace" the use up your stash thread (where you mark individual products as used), this is a year-long project use up list that you need to do & keep up with!
WCC method (washing) --- Rinse-out oil (MO) --- LOC/LCO method (styling)

Oh! I think I might have misunderstood then oops. I posted here because I liked the timing of it being for a year but I think I still don't quite get the difference, sorry. I sort of assumed (though I could well have been wrong) that if it was a goal to use up certain stuff within the year you'd all be starting off with a list to be worked through? (I don't have that mentality, but not seeing other starting lists was why I didn't think it was that.) Please set me straight!

No no, that's fine too!!! I think you're misunderstanding.

You can come with your pre-made list or build as you go. All the same to me! As long as it is a "set" of items for the year, that you've either set aside, or are intending to use up. Just let us know the full list each time, and mark off or build.

Right! Yes I understand now, thanks. I think I'm in the wrong thread then, sorry! I mean, I do intend to use the conditioner up but I certainly have more than a year's worth

If someone looked at how much product I use, it could look like I'm just trying to get rid of as much as possible, but no, I actually need that much conditioner.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that's what anyone was doing! I just know I would tend towards doing that because I'm impatient, and anything framed as a challenge or something to get done / finish makes me eager to just be done with it already

All the best to you guys doing the project this thread actually set up!

But I don't get it; you posted a list above - that could go in this challenge? No? Oh, if I wasn't before, I'm confused now. LOL! But you do you, and do what you feel comfortable with. You can always join if you want to, please know that!

I'm also confused. I mean, I am just listing the products I use up as time goes by (during the year). Nothing more to it than that. It's a nice way of keeping track of how much stuff I use per year/month.

Aww, thank you the list is my entire stash of conditioners and oils, but there is absolutely no way I'll come even close to using them up within the year; I don't think I could even work out a rough estimate of what I will use up. (I couldn't even promise not buy anything on top of the stash if I were to use up my HG conditioner ) If it's a 'see how far we get in 2019' kind of thing though, I can definitely do that Heh, I think I might still be slightly confused oh boy, apologies for accidentally hijacking the thread!
